Nikki Stewart is the designer of a luxurious line of
knitwear
called "Nikk". From the age of 13 she knew that she
wanted to
design clothes. Nikki also has a unique sense of style,
scouting
out the hottest retail destinations in search of
unique, authentic
neighborhoods. Nikki is drawn to edgy, whimsical and
colorful designers with a graphical twist including
Twinkle by
Wenlan and Missoni.

wet + wild wellies
You'll be running through (not around) puddles from
now on. Wellington or "Wellie" boots as they are
lovingly known were originally designed for treks
along rugged Scottish countryside. Lucky for us, the
Wellie has come a long way, baby...since 1865 when
the first pair was manufactured in Scotland. Marc
Jacob's Tied Rain Boot is the must-have rainboot
ofthe season. Grab a pair before they're sold
out...and then pray for rain!

moccasins + boots
Go West (or at least to the Upper West Side) as the
American Prarie Pioneers did - but do it in style. These
rough hewn boots are a fabulous compliment for
chilly Fall days ahead. These amazing Minnetonka
moccasin boots look great with denim skirts or
jeans. Wear a pair of Frye Campus boots with chunky
knit socks showing out of the tops or tuck your
jeans into them. Sooo cute with a faux fur vest on top.

mukluks - let's get cozy
Mukluks are best paired with a mini or very straight
and narrow jeans. StyleMaven's editors have scouted
out the best mukluks of the season - and where to
buy them online. The Mukluk has been worn by the
native people of Canada's great white North for
centuries. We've found some sites that feature
authentic styles as well as some interpretations for
your own urban expeditions. Once you put on a pair
of Mukluks you'll be ready to rub noses with someone
you love.
