If only every store could be like this: staff who couldn’t be more helpful and clothes that couldn’t be more tasteful. A decade ago Nigel Hall was flogging his designs from a stall on Camden Lock Market, and the lessons he learnt there have stuck: namely, give the people what they want, and do it politely. Everything in this small but pleasant store is somehow quintessentially English, and yet bang up to date at the same time. Sure, the interior design is hardly imaginative, but this is the kind of place you’d tell all your friends about if they’d only let you get a word in before asking about your smashing (Nigel Hall, of course) shirt. where you got your shirt from.
