It's been a magnet for the style conscious for decades and, however shabbily you're dressed, you'll be treated as if you're on the verge of reaching into your pocket and blowing five grand. The store itself is very English, right down to the umbrella stand by the door. Ties and cuff links sit on fitted mahogany display cases, ready to be plucked, and if you're worried that the name sounds too old-fashioned, fear not. The chief tailor is a 35-year-old Italian called Carlo, and you can't get cooler than that.
