Zipper has a little of everything from cardboard rocking chairs (very comfy) to chocolates shaped like baby heads (very creepy). Although oddities like fizzy, fortune cookie-shaped bath salts cram every corner, furniture and home accessories dominate the store. The style here defies categorization. Intricately painted Moroccan tea tables stand next to streamlined, velvet, Deco-inspired sofas. Lush silk cushions lie on the floor next to coldly geometric pottery by Jonathan Adler. Zipper could use some editing of its wildly diverse inventory, but then again, it might not be quite so fun.
