Stephanie’s 15 years of experience in fashion, technology, product development and design have primed her for her position as Chief StyleMaven.  Starting her career as a fashion designer, Stephanie learned to create today what consumers are going to wear tomorrow.  In that capacity, she developed her ability to identify under-the-radar trends, designs and products before they hit the mainstream.  Her passion for design led to projects for Sony, Logitech, and 3M.  She has also created design solutions for brands including Bank of America, CBS, Microsoft, and developed a collection of dinnerware and home accessories for Pottery Barn.

With a her keen eye for style trends, Stephanie identified analyzed markets and consumer trends for Nokia.  Stephanie also served as a trendspotter for The Asterix Group, a branding agency which targets female consumers.  Over the years, Stephanie has built a network of fashion, technology and design insiders who tip her on what the newest, hottest must-have might be.  .

Julia Lee, Retail Features Editor
For over seven years, Julia has written about fashion, entertainment, food and travel for Elle, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle and the New York Times Sunday Magazine.  Writing for major consumer magazines, Julia knows how to target trends and ideas before they go mass market, and how to capture and retain the attention of an easily distracted audience.  At StyleMaven, Julia is the editorial voice, tailoring the text so it presents a singular tone.  She also oversees freelancer writers, assists with business planning and writes features.  In addition to her work as a writer and editor, Julia has also worked in finance and operations, developing business plans, recruiting technical staff and performing financial analyses for companies including Site Systems, an internet marketing firm, as well as Twentieth Century Fox and Sony Pictures.  Julia is a Fulbright Scholar, a graduate of Georgetown University with an M.S. in International Relations and U.C. Berkeley, with a B.A. in Economics.
